I really liked it, wonderful hosts, great views, cleanliness, rice terraces. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh. Sleeping was quiet and fresh.

There aren't enough good things I can say about time at Mandala Desa. From the moment I first contacted them to book, to arriving to such beautiful accommodation in the most beautiful setting surrounded by local villages and rice fields, to the amazing food, the peace & tranquility, the incredible staff who are so friendly and take such beautiful care of their guests, to using the onside bikes and getting advice re day trips etc and booking via them too. Ubud is only a short Grab Taxi ride away. Simply exquisite 5 days at Mandala Desa. Thank you so much to Jan and all his incredible team. We loved staying with you. (My friend stayed in one of the beautiful Villas and I had the beautiful poolside room). Babs 😊😊

This is a great place to get away from the crowds of Bali and experience peace and quiet in beautiful, natural surroundings. Room was wonderful. Service is great. And the food is delicious. You get a wonderful stay for really good value. The owners were away while we were there, but the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Though not too close to the crowded and more popular beaches, there are beaches not too far away. We booked a tour to Nusa Penida and found it easy enough to get there and back. Also close to the zoo, bird park and a few other places of interest. They can help you book a driver if needed and are willing to help you with whatever you need. Great place!

We really had a good time there. For us it was perfect not to be in a busy area and enjoy local surroundings . It was a nice family feeling. Good priced and organized . Everything we asked for was quickly responded. It’s a huge are with a lot of things to explore for kids. It’s not a fancy house , more classic. They have a good system by WhatsApp to connect anything. Really good menu and breakfast. Thanks to the team and family!
